     10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Platform Committee meets
     3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Registration/Check-in
     4 p.m. to 5 p.m., State Democratic Central Committee meets
     6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Welcome reception at the Snow King

Saturday, May 24:

     8 a.m., Registration/Check-in
     9 a.m., Democratic State Convention begins
     Noon, Luncheon - Cost: $50 a plate 
     1:30 p.m., Democratic State Convention resumes
     4:30 p.m., National Delegates meet
     6 p.m. to 7 p.m., VIP Cocktail Reception, Rafferty's - Cost: $250 a person 
     6 p.m. to 7 p.m., No-host cocktails
     7 p.m., Dinner Banquet - Cost $100 a plate

Sunday, May 25:

     9 a.m. to noon, Candidate training

Hotel info for the Democratic State Convention

All regular rooms at the Snow King are booked, but they and other hotels in the Jackson area have helped us find some other rooms at reduced rates. Make sure you ask for the Wyoming Democratic State Convention rate!

- Inn at Jackson Hole (Best Western Inn). Located in gorgeous Teton Village, this hotel has START bus service to Jackson available. $79 a night. Call 1-800-842-7666.

- Painted Buffalo Inn. At 400 W. Broadway in Jackson, this hotel has shuttle service available a block away. $110 per night. Call 1-800-288-3866.

- Snow King & Love Ridge Condos. At the convention site, these rooms are being made available to convention participants at a reduced rate. Options range from $138 to $350 per night, from studios up to four bedrooms. Call 1-800-522-5464.

Rates are good for three days before and three days after the Convention, and families are encouraged. It is, after all, Memorial Day Weekend, so there will be Old West Days and other activities in Jackson.

Reservations must be made (mentioning Democratic State Convention) by April 23, 2008, to get these rates. After that date, the rates are still good as long as rooms remain available.

One night's deposit is required (above rates plus taxes/fees of about 10 percent), and there's a 72-hour cancellation policy.
