ADVISORY: Hales swearing-in set for Monday, July 23

CHEYENNE - New state Rep. Mary Hales, D-Casper, is scheduled to be sworn in to her legislative seat at 11 a.m. Monday, July 23, in the Wyoming House Chambers at the State Capitol Building in Cheyenne.

Gov. Dave Freudenthal is planning to attend the ceremony, and Wyoming Supreme Court Chief Justice Barton Voigt is scheduled to swear Hales in.

Hales was appointed by the Natrona County Commission on July 9 to fill the vacancy left by the resignation of Rep. Liz Gentile, D-Evansville.
