Vote Early, Vote Often!
-
Sep 22, 2010Bryon Lee sent out the following reminder to voters: Good afternoon active Wyomingites, I hope you are rockin' in the free world today. It is glorious in Sheridan today. The purpose of this email is to remind us all of a couple things: 1. Wyoming's absentee/early vote begins tomorrow, Thursday, September 23. 2. In the spirit of dedicating our time and energy to voter outreach, helping candidates, and getting voters to the polls on election day, it may be wise for us all to engage in the early vote process. 3. If you have any questions about the process you can log onto the Wyoming Sec. of State site, http://soswy.state.wy.us/Elections/AbsenteeVoting.aspx or call your local County Clerks office. 4. Please let your ACTIVE volunteers know about the process, and let them know this process helps free up valuable time on election day to conduct our GOTV efforts. If any of you have any questions or comments, please let me know. Be well, Bryon Lee Organizing for America - Wyoming State Director (307) 752-5972 leeb@dcn.org http://www.facebook.com/ofa.wy

Oct 24, 2010 | Pat Duffy | staranddodger@gmail.comI understand the issues of government being too big but do conservative supporters realize the range of cuts that would need to be made to tackle the deficit. The UK predicts 500,000 public sector workers going. That translates to about 2.5M over here. Wyoming has a high level of fed. employees so would be hit hard - BLM, Parks etc However even after the loss of services and support for the unemployed and sick there will still be more than there is here in the US at the present times. Are they prepared for a 10% reduction in the $700B for defense? This translates into loss of forces jobs, cancellation of projects that then knock on to loss of jobs from Lockheed, Boeing etc.
